I am still going ahead with it, getting very nervous now but really enjoying the sessions and getting to know everyone and looking forward to Fight Night!

I am raising money for akt- the Albert Kennedy Trust. It's been a tough few years for everybody but while many of us have had the support of families and friends over the lockdowns, this unfortunately isn't the case for all. For some young people, coming out, or being outed as LGBTQ+ can lead to young people being made homeless. This is the reality for 77% of the young people akt supports. Sometimes families are unaccepting and abusive. akt exists to support these young people and can offer safety and hope in an open and accepting environment. We help with housing and also to help them celebrate their identity.
