ruth morrison is raising money for Cash for Kids North East Scotland
Story
On June 3, 2008, I will set out from Land's End for John o'Groats on a hand cycle. I aim to travel the 1,000 miles in 17 days and hope to raise £100, 000 for Cash for Kids.
In 2000 I came off my motorbike at just 15 miles an hour and broke my back in such a way that I've been confined to a wheelchair ever since. Before that I was a fitness instructor in the Army. In 2002 I took up wheelchair racing and have now taken all Scottish records from 400m to Marathon, and the British Marathon record. This year I hope to compete in the Beijing Paralympics and to raise £100,000 for Cash for Kids. Please help me by sponsoring me.
