Story

I have been fundraising for Cancer Research UK since 2011 this year i will be taking part in my 14th consecutive Relay for Life on the 20th/21st July.

I have lost too many family and friends over those years and i am committed to keep fundraising to find a cure, for as long as i can.

I would love for my 8 great nieces and nephews to live in a world without cancer.

How does the money you donate make a difference?

When you donate to my Relay For Life donation page, the money is used to fund long-term research. That long-term research, results in making more discoveries. Over time, these discoveries make giant strides towards a world where everyone lives longer, better lives free from the fear of cancer.

Relay For Life celebrates the power of community fundraising to make breakthroughs happen. Across the UK and the globe, teams of friends and family fundraise for world-leading cancer research. Then, we unite as a collective at a weekend-long festival to honour everyone affected by cancer and celebrate the progress we’re making. Together, we remember loved ones and celebrate the tomorrow’s made possible. Together we are beating cancer.
