Story

Less than a week to go and at the last count we have 70 Kent blue riders peddling on Sunday - an amazing show of solidarity. Makes you proud to be part of the family and a fantastic show of solidarity.

Please push friends and loved ones to donate to this much deserved charity.

On behalf of team bravo we thank you

Leigh would have been so proud

This ride is a solidarity ride for PC 11207 Leigh Harris, a member of Kent Police who at 37 was diagnosed with terminal cancer. The aim is to get as many people on saddles for this ride to raise money for this wonderful charity that eases the suffering for those with cancer at the end of thier journey.

I will be enrolling as many colleagues as possible both serving and retired to show we are all with those  and thier courageous fight against this cruel and devastating disease.
For those colleagues not making the ride please donate all that you can for a disease that effects one in three of us !!

About the charity

Pilgrims Hospices is a charity providing palliative care, free of charge, to people in east Kent. For people with a range of life-limiting illnesses, specialist services are provided from our three hospices in Canterbury, Ashford and Thanet, in patients' homes and via community programmes.
