We provide specialist services for those in crisis & for those living with the effects of their trauma, helping adults, young people & children to safety, recovery and free from future harm.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the Kent Roller Girls JustGiving page.

Our Roller Derby team is taking part in the Goodwood Roller marathon on the 14th August this year. We will all be skating in the full marathon, and are hoping to raise as much money as possible for Rising Sun, a domestic violence and abuse chairty based in Kent.

Rising Sun do amazing work, providing help for all those affected by domestic violence. They provide councelling for adults and children affected by violence, help and information on housing, as well as providing general support to individuals and communities. Much of the support Rising sun gives to women focuses on them regaining their freedom and happiness as well as building up their confidence and empower them.

Those skating on behalf of this charity so far are

Lynsey McKay, Rose Smith, Rachel Langley, Ali Skinner, Jack Sherriff, Alexandra Westrop, Sam Harper, Muriel Randle, Sam Litherland, Mark Langley and Chloe Still.

Please dig deep and give whatever you can to help suport this amazing charity. THANK YOU
