Last year, more than 2,000 children were turned away from Chicago area shelters after witnessing or experiencing domestic violence, which can have devastating impacts. Children exposed to violence in the home are 15 times more likely than their peers to be physically and/or sexually assaulted. On Giving Tuesday, help us break the cycle and ensure all children who turn to CAWC are able to receive the services they need to heal from trauma, regain confidence, and enjoy their childhood.
