For those that don't know my story, here is a little bit about me and why i am running the London Marathon for Alzheimer's

My dad was diagnosed in 2018 with mixed Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia.It wasn't long before Dad didn't want to live by himself and moved in with myself, my husband and 2 children. I wont pretend it was easy but i wanted to look after my dad for as long as i could.

Seeing dad go from the live and sole of a party to not knowing who i was anymore, was and is the hardest journey i have been through, and it really did break me.

Nearly a year on and i still cant believe its real, that he is gone. But as he always said get up and get on with it. So here i am getting up and running 26.4 miles to raise money and as much awareness for this charity.

I am holding a charity football match on Friday 10th October at Gallagher Stadium Maidstone Untied. Tickets can be purchased through EventBrite or down at the Stadium. If anyone would like to join me in a fun filled evening.
