Story
A little late as usual but better late than never ey.. on Sunday I am running my fourth Sheffield Half Marathon in memory of my late nannan Lilly Archer.
Having to see somebody so precious to me & with that, such an amazing, giving, big hearted character slowly deteriorate each day and defeated by cancer was not only heartbreaking but very frustrating, giving there was nothing I could do to make things better.
My experiences have inspired me to do my utmost to try and help those others unfortunate enough to encounter cancer.
So if you could please help me raise money for Weston Park Hospital, your donations will help improve the quality of life and care of those with cancer and help fund further cancer research for future patients.
One in three people will be affected by cancer in the UK and on average nearly 60,000 patients will visit Weston park hospital in a year. Weston Park is one of only four dedicated cancer hospitals in England. The charity supports the hospital by funding pioneering cancer research and helping to improve cancer treatments and care for patients all across the country specifically from Sheffield, all of South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire, North Derbyshire and in some cases treating patients from abroad requiring specialist treatments.
