Story
Early in March I decided this would be the year I'd try to run a marathon! I entered the New Forest Marathon and started the countdown. Little did I know three weeks later the whole world would change and we'd all be grounded. But I kept running, running and running... covering nearly 600 miles this year at time of writing.
My entry to the New Forest marathon will unfortunately have to be virtual but I will complete my ambition! The Banner Marathon Challenge will be designed and supported by Dom and run by me on my lonesome on Sunday 13th September! Route to be publicised if anyone fancies giving me some encouragement.
It would be lovely if a charity could benefit from what has been and will be an absolute herculean effort. I have chosen Hope Against Cancer as they are a local Leicester charity benefiting cancer patients whose struggles have been worsened further by the pandemic with delayed treatments and the extra threat of Covid. If you could spare them a little money it would be much appreciated and help spur me on in the marathon. Thank you.
