Story

As most of our wonderful friends and family now know already, our gorgeous boy Hugh (who's now 13 years old) was diagnosed with Acute Lympoblastic Leukemia (ALL) on 8th January 2016.  He is being treated at RMCH and currently getting through his 1st course of Chemotherapy.  Marcus and Hattie (his siblings) are both ok but have been shocked and devastated by this terrible news, as has Hugh's six step- brothers/sisters!!!

As always, Hugh has been absolutely amazing throughout and is hugely optimistic about his recovery  albeit, it is going to be a while.

Hugh's wonderful demeanour has ultimately now inspired both Charlie (my partner) and myself, to partake in the Manchester 10K run on 22nd May 2016 for Ward 84, RMCH. Hugh is actively monitoring my training as I am his treatments; so in essence we are both supporting each other!!!! Ward 84 has been truly amazing for all of us, especially Hugh so I now hope, with your sponsorship, we can raise as much money as we can for such a worthwhile and life changing charity which has already, and continues to do so, made a difference in our lives and undoubtedly, the lives of so many other families who have suffered and received treatment for children with Leukemia and Cancer. Thank you. Kerry X
