We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under the age of 40. Less than 2% of cancer research goes towards brain tumours.

I am running the marathon to raise awareness and money for research for this cruel cancer.

Edward my husband has had a brain tumour for 14 years, he has defied the odds and has been an amazing inspiration to everyone, a very brave man. It hasn't been easy and it has been a hard fight all the way along, through 4 operations, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. He is doing ok and we are all grateful that he is still with us.

I retrained as a nurse and now specialise in brain tumour, my patients are the most amazing and inspirational group of patients I have ever had the pleasure to look after. I love my job.

More needs to be done to find out about brain tumours to create better treatments.

Please donate or help fund raise! I would be eternally grateful.
