Story
I do not need to tell you what a special man Dad was, for those of you who knew him, knew they were very lucky to have someone this treasured as their friend or part of their family.
HASAG were a huge support to my Mum and Dad when Dad was diagnosed with Mesothelioma in February 2014. The team at HASAG visited Dad at home and helped with so many things that he never knew would be available to him without their advice. They made him strong and helped him to remain positive and put up the fight for this terrible disease. Thank you HASAG, your truly were the rock my parents needed this year.
Dad enjoyed countless achievements, truly wonderful friends, a very loving family and a very full heart. He lived a happy life and left us with no regrets.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the strength, support and kindness given to our family this year from you all. It was an honor to have seen such an overwhelming number of you attend the service at St Mary's Church, a time to celebrate the great life of a very special man who captured the hearts of so many.
We are offering the chance for any further donations to Dad's chosen charities which include St Catherine's Hospice, Crawley, HASAG and RNIB via the links I set up in justgiving.
Dad, you were everyone's "Mate" and your zest for life will live on in each of us. The moments you have given us are more precious than anything in the world and you will rise to eminence by merit ... you have lived respected and died regretted.
