I’m running the London Marathon for Weldmar hospice care as they simply do amazing things to help make end of life care as dignified, calm and the best experience possible in the circumstances. They also support the family that are impacted. I know this as my Grandad (Pop) spent his last few days in the hospice after being diagnosed with lung cancer. The care he received there was so compassionate and the family were looked after. I have also lost friends recently that were far too young and the care Weldmar provided to them and their young children just made it that bit easier. This charity you really see first hand the impact they have on peoples lives and funding is not lost in some corporate giant. So please sponsor me to raise as much money as possible for this fabulous charity.

I am running my very first marathon and as I only intend to do this once it has to be London! I only really started running in feb18 and have done a half so simply just need to top that by 100% eeek! that was hard enough! It’s not just the actual event it will be the hours of training starting now, the tiredness and eating better (for all that know me well cooking is not my thing!) and juggling all this with working full time and being a mum and trying to fit in being a half decent wife and some social time!
