Story
Hi, I’m Kerry... professional overthinker, part-time gym goer, full-time trier.
This past year has been a rollercoaster for my mental health. Like so many people, I’ve dealt with a mix of highs, lows and “what on earth is happening now?” moments. Anxiety, self-doubt and worrying far too much about what others think have all been along for the ride.
But one thing that’s genuinely helped me is moving my body... running, getting to the gym, and giving myself goals that keep me focused and grounded. I’m someone who needs a target, something to work toward, and this year I wanted that goal to mean something bigger than me.
So, I’ve signed up for Move for Mind 2026.
🎯 My goal: Run 100km in January 2026
💙 My mission: Raise £300 for Mind - a charity doing incredible work for mental health
Every donation, big or small, will help support people who are struggling and ensure no one faces a mental health challenge alone. If you’d like to support me... and keep me running even when it’s raining sideways - I’d be hugely grateful.
Thank you for backing me, believing in me, and helping Mind support others. 💙
Right now, Mind’s phone lines are the busiest they’ve ever been. In the UK 1 in 4 of us will face a mental health problem this year, yet too many still wait in silence. Mind is often their only lifeline - on the phone, in local communities, and fighting for change so no one is left behind. Please support my Move for Mind challenge by donating to my fundraising page 🙏🏻Your donation will ensure that information and support is available for everyone - on Mind's website, the helplines they run and throughout their online community, Side by Side. Thank you 💙
