Hi Everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.
 
I have set myself a major challenge, probably the biggest of my life; to raise €50,000 and run 10km (I think the latter is the hardest for me!). I have never undertaken such a mammoth task before and it is only now that I found an organisation that is worthy of this effort, have I decided to undertake it.

I have recently been appointed to the role of CEO for Depaul Trust and I am proud to be running the mini marathon with colleagues and friends of Depaul to raise vital funds to support our ongoing work. I am sure we will all have a lot of fun, even if mixed with a little pain on the day!

Having worked for many years as a frontline worker in homeleess services I have a little understanding of the impact that homeleessness can have on the life of an indivuidal. Daily I see in Depaul how, through its staff and volunteers, we support people to make better choices in life, to look to the future and recognise their own potential. I am constantly amazed at the resilience of the men, women and families that we work with.

I hope you will see for yourselves the value in the work of Depaul and dig deep to support me in my challenge of helping Depaul to help others.
