Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page.  I have set it up to raise much needed funding for Pancreatic Cancer following the sad passing of friend to many, Kerry Harvey - also known as model Louise La Fleur.

Kerry fought pancreatic cancer - an incredible lady who will be missed by a lot of people. She fought and fought this cruel illness, campaigning for awareness, of a disease that has a very very low survival rate.  Kerry did so knowing no cure would be found in time to save her own life, yet she still campaigned tirelessly so others would not have to suffer the pain she went through.

I know many of you reading this will have either worked with Kerry during her modelling career, shared laughs with her as a fellow user of this site/other social media sites.  Having met Kerry for the first time a few years ago, we have seen lots of highs and lows.

A short while ago we were honoured to be asked by Kerry and her partner to be their wedding photographers, knowing she only had 4-5 months to live she bought her wedding forward to May - she was so looking forward to her amazing day marrying the love of her life, Matt.

 

I know Kerry would be mad at me if I didn't ask you all to sign the petition she had promoted - a petition to obtain more money to go towards research into curing Pancreatic Cancer.  Pancreatic Cancer is the 5th leading cause of UK cancer death yet only receives 1% of funding.  Over 34,000 people have signed this so far, it will only be considered if more than 100,000 people sign.

Please take 2 seconds to sign it - it wont cost you anything and it may help save lives like Kerry's in the future.
