Cancer is a disease that has unfortunately affected many people close to my family and friends. I want to do everything I can to try and aid Macmillan to continue supporting those affected by cancer. Therefore,  I have chosen to run the 2024 London Marathon in aid of Macmillan to raise as much money as possible to help support their services. 

Macmillan is a charity that is close my mine and many others hearts. Whilst cancer is not always life threatening, it is almost always life changing, and having the correct support can make a large impact on mental and physical health. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.
