I am an 18 year old cyclist and have set myself a challenge of cycling all the way from my home town of listowel in kerry to the phoenix park in county dublin. 

For such a long and hard occasion I thought that it would be almost a waste not to help and support a charity of my choice. I chose the Irish Cancer society because I always see them either in person or on tv helping people and I wondered what I could do to help. 

Cycling 270km in one day will be no easy task but I am confident in my ability to complete it. I look forward to taking on the day.
