Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In November 2019, I got diagnosed with breast cancer. And so are 55,000 women across the UK every year.
I was lucky. I found my lump early and got treated straightaway. And after surgery, 12 weeks of chemotherapy, 20 radiotherapy sessions and 18 antibody injections, I had my first ‘all clear’ in November 2020!
After running the virtual Royal Parks Half Marathon in April and raising a whopping £7,000 for Breast Cancer Now, I’m now running ‘the real one’ to complete my 2021 mission. The work of Breast Cancer Now is extremely relevant on so many levels and will benefit the 1 in 7 women who get diagnosed with breast cancer at one point in their life!
I am also grateful to Royal Parks for the special support and for helping me raise awareness:
