Once upon a time in Thorpe Hamlet, Kett and his band of brother set up camp, preparing to rebel against the evil big-wigs in the town below. Unfortunately, he failed. In 2020, Jess, Robin, Eliza and Luci live in the very same spot that he was drawing his plans. And plan they did, for a very challenging 26-mile hike through the perils of Dedham Vale. We hope, unlike Kett, that our plans will be a success! But could do with a ew donations to help us along the way (especially as Macmillan require £250 per person in order to run the event) It is a difficult time for all, and no doubt those with life-limiting conditions will be feeling the effect on the NHS, social services, and a shrinking charity sector. Macmillan do a terrific job, and we often rely on their nurses to complete night sits, reducing burden on carers and helping people at end of life to remain in their preferred place of care and not get needlessly rushed off to hospital.
