I am running for APEC for the 2nd time in the London marathon to help in a very small way fund the support & education they provide pregnant women & the vital research they provide. Pre-Eclampsia is a disease only pregnant women can get &  more education is needed to inform women of the signs & symptoms of it in pregnancy. Pre-Eclampsia can cause pre term births & as my wife is a neonatal nurse it's effects are close to our hearts which needs more research into.
