The World's Highest Bike Ride - official world record attempt · 30 September 2022

The Byrne Family Foundation has been set up to support those less fortunate than ourselves and impact the lives of those in desperate need – in our own communities and overseas.

Story

Most will know I don’t often ask for sponsorship, but this is exceptional.

I’m trekking up mount Putha Hiunchuli in the Himalayas. A 7.25k high mountain. It’s in the top 100 highest mountains in the world where the air is half as what it is down here with temperatures as low as -30. With a bike on my back, I’ll trek to the top and cycle down. It'll be a Guineas world record highest bike ride if I’m successful.

I’m raising money for Hope House for Boys and Girls. Boys rescued off the street and Girls rescued from the sex trade. 100% of any funds raised will go to hel finish a new hostile we are building for the boys.

The hostel is close to being finished but due to a rise is costs we will not have enough to buy beds, furniture and kitchen equipment.

Anything you can donate will be much appreciated.

Thanks… Kev.
