Lands End to John O Groats via the Three Peaks

Lands End to John O Groats plus the Three Peaks · 30 June 2014
PLEASE support Colin and Kevin by donating to Combat Stress, the Veterans Mental Health Charity.
Why Combat Stress? Armed Forces personnel suffering from Post Truamatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) are often forgotten. The families and children of psychologically wounded service personnel also become the victims.
Colin's father "Stan Goldsworthy" is a veteran of the second world war, he was shot during the D Day landings. Stan was sent to Northfield to recover from trauma and combat stress. Kevin completed a full military career 1976 to 1999 and know's ex soldiers suffering with PTSD.
This journey is special for us, marking Colin's 70th and Kevin's 55th birthday's this year. We will be cycling 70 to 80 miles a day on traditional steel framed touring bikes, carrying our kit, with some rough camping along the way.
We will also trek up the three highest peaks. This is a deviation from the tradional cycle route with some hard terrain and lots of close contours on the map :) A huge challenge for us.
Supported by "La Madeleine Cafe" Church Street, Hereford.
