A short 18 months since my first 10k charity run, the ever increasing impact of this iniquitous disease on my father and several of my friends' parents gives me all the motivation I need to push myself onwards and upwards whilst raising these all important funds for a great organisation. 

I heard someone say that that a marathon is only double the distance of a 1/2 but 10 times the pain....Consequently I have set my ££ target also in the hope that reading this you will want to share that pain (or at least make it worth it !!)
