Story

THE LEGER LEGENDS CHARITY RACE

The Leger Legends Charity Race is being run to help raise funds for two northern-based charity projects designed to benefit people starting out in racing as well as those at the end of their careers:

"The House that Jack Built" - is Jack Berry's aspiration for an Injured Jockeys Fund (IJF) facility to be based in the north, similar to the acclaimed IJF Oaksey House jockeys retirement and rehabilitation centre in Lambourn, Berkshire

and

The Northern Racing College (residential course facility) - which will enable the College to meet the oversubscribed demand for Foundation Stable Staff courses as well as extending the range of residential courses it would like to offer the northern racing community
