Story

Thanks for taking time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have never raised money before, so what better way to do it than to do one of the toughest events on the planet.  TOUGH MUDDER!

For those who have not heard of it, it's a 10-12 mile obstacle course designed by the British Special Forces to test strength, stamina, mental grit and camaraderie.  Involving mud, fire, ice-water, walls, trenches,10,000 volts of electricity and a whole lot more!!

See below for what I'm letting myself in for!www.youtube.com/watch?v=vh5HdPM_QuE

For preparation for it, I have already completed three 10k's. The Glenlivet, the Balmoral and Baker, so hopefully this and some gym work puts me in good stead!

My chosen charity is the Clydeside Action on Asbestos. Sadly my dad passed away over 14 years ago after suffering from Asbestos, so I thought this would be a great opportunity to raise money for a charity that means a lot to me.  They provide advice and assistance to sufferers and would help people like my dad get through those difficult times.  For more information, click on www.clydesideactiononasbestos.org.uk

It would be brilliant If you could help to donate to the cause and be greatly appreciated.
