Annecy Challenge 2018 · 4 October 2018 to 7 October 2018 ·

For 25 years, we have organised cycle events, mainly in Europe. We have raised a huge £4,378,361 mainly for cancer, heart and other medical research. We pride ourselves that EVERY PENNY that has been raised has been paid to charity - our participants paying the full fees for event entry themselves.

Story

Competing in teams of four, Team Alsford Peddlers will be covering 510 miles over three day - the longest of which covers 190 miles

Our experience of previous years will help us prepare both mentally and physically. During the challenge itself we will be working together to ensure we achieve the daily targets safely.... and without getting lost!

To give you an idea of how difficult this challenge will be, Day 3 will see us climbing a total of 4,618 meters - which includes a section of the 2013 Tour de France route where Chris Froome sealed his first TdF victory. Once finally at the finish line we will be able to take in the views, across Lake Annecy, of Mont Blanc, the highest peak in Europe.

This year we are supporting The British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research and Shooting Star Chase - Which we hope you will agree are fantastic and worthwhile charity.

Training is well underway, and any support you can offer would be very appreciated....thank you (-:
