Having previously Braved the Shave for Macmillan Cancer Support a couple of years ago, because cancer had touched my life, through my father who died in November 2015, and several work colleagues.  Since then, my partner's mother and my partner were both diagnosed with cancer within a short period of time.  As my partner comes close to the end of the main part of her treatment, I feel it's important to give something back to the Friends of the Cancer Centre, who have provided the most amazing practical and financial support at a time when it is need most.  Their work is in desperate need of support.
