Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Kevin Mackenzie and Paul Davis are both members of London Gas, the Bristol Rovers supporters group in London and are walking the London Marathon Route to raise money for research into the rare and fatal brain disease CJD (Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease). There is currently no cure for this disease.

We'll be undertaking the walk on Saturday 27th July, walking from Greenwich Park to The Mall along the 2013 Virgin London Marathon route.

We're raising the money in memory of Julian Bailey who died of the disease in 2010. Besides being a teacher, musician and also a Bristol Rovers supporter of 50 years, Julian was a marathon runner.

It seemed appropriate to raise money for CJD research by walking the London marathon course, so please give generously.
