Story
With the professional football career seeming less likely by the day (not impossible mind), I have decided to turn my athletic energies towards this year's Belfast marathon. Running 7.1 miles as part of a relay team sounded like a hoot 2 months ago. Now, with little training and the realisation that I'll have to get up at 6am I fear that I may have bitten off more than I can chew. In fact I'm not even hungry anymore.
The only silver lining to this definite rain cloud is that we can hopefully raise some money for the excellent charity Marie Curie. Having seen the hard work that their nurses do first-hand, contributing something to this worthwhile cause will make the pain bearable. If you would be so kind as to leave a donation, it would be hugely appreciated.
