Play as One Scotland believe that all children have the right to play together – no matter their ability. Our aim is to “Make Play Inclusive for All”, through funding and supporting inclusive play and support projects throughout Scotland. Pa1s believe in all children and young people having equal access to – and equal participation in – local play and leisure opportunities. This can be anything from arts & crafts workshops, disabled sports or putting inclusive play equipment and sensory paths into existing parks. Really, anything where disabled and non-disabled children can play together.

Story

At Play As One Scotland we believe that ALL Children should be able to play together regardless of any disabilities they may have. Our first playwark was opened in Dunfermline in June 2018 by the First Minister Nicola Sturgeon. We firmly believe that playparks should be INCLUSIVE. Like the groundbreaking park in Dunfermline our long term aim is to have a similar parks all over Scotland and INCLUSIVE playparks to be the norm and not the exception. No child will be left behind.“Making Play Inclusive”. Since this we have supported the development of an inclusive playpark at Zetland Park in Grangemouth.

In the immediate future we are looking to add an ability swing to the playpark at Causewayhead Park in Stirling.

Help us May playparks in Scotland inclusive. It helps with children’s self esteem and their interpersonal skills as well as allowing the children have fun.
