As most of you know I had a serious offroad motorbike accident in October. With the help and skills of the South Western ambulance service including the HART team (hazardous area response team) I was rescued from a very inaccessible place on the edge of Exmoor, and transported to Musgrove Hospital in Taunton initially, before being transferred to Bristol Southmead.
I can’t thank all the people enough for what they did for me that day, and without them it may have been a different story. We see them going about their work every day, but it sometimes isn’t until you need their help, you realise how important these people are to all of our lives.
Instead of giving and receiving gifts from friends and family this year I am donating to the ambulance service and would ask others to do the same.
I am also donating to Bristol Southmead Hospital Charity for the help and care they gave to me. I have set up a separate page for them.
Thank you
