The Oliver Fisher Special Care Baby Trust supports the Neonatal Unit at Medway Maritime Hospital in Gillingham. The charity fundraises in order to buy the highly specialised and sophisticated equipment needed to care for sick and premature babies and we look after approximately 1000 babies a year.

Story

I am taking part in a 260km bike ride in France (which is almost the same as three back to back London to Brightons) along with 10 other work colleagues, where we’ll be cycling from  Orleans via Poitiers. This is to raise money for my chosen charity The Oliver Fisher Special Baby Care Trust, along with 9 local hospices and The Rockinghorse Appeal through sponsorship from our company’s clients.

Over the past few years the Cellular Solutions team (where I work ) have raised over £111,000 – so with your help this event will help take us over the £140,000 mark – with the aim of reaching £250,000 over the next two years from our cycling fundraising.

For my personal fundraising target I am looking to raise £500+ for the Oliver Fisher Special Care Baby Trust because they helped my daughter in the first few weeks of her life. The work that the doctors and nurses so on a daily basis is truly amazing and my family will forever be in their debt.

Cellular Solutions will also match like for like any funds we raise up to £5,000.  Our overall total fundraising target for the event is £30,000. Every donation will help towards this figure that will make a significant difference to those less fortunate than ourselves. Every penny donated goes to charity and not towards the costs of the event thanks to sponsorship of the event by one of our network partners.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now – I will be EXTREMELY GRATEFUL!
