Fundraising for Royal Star & Garter
Story
My name is Kevin Rudge and I live in Solihull, I first visited the Royal Star and Garter Home in Solihull in 2012 when I was looking for care for my father, it is a magical place. My father went into the home that year and spent the last year of his life there, where he received the most fantastic care imaginable. Not only was my father well looked after but the staff were also amazing to us all as a family, extremely supportive and understanding.
After my father passed away in 2013 the Home continued to play an important part in my life, I started off volunteering as a fundraiser and now I work for the Charity as the "Partnerships & Events Manager".
This year the Solihull home celebrates its 10th Birthday and I would like to raise money to give something back to this wonderful home and help it continue to offer the high level of specialist care to our veterans and their spouses.
I'm really looking forward to this challenge and raising money for the Solihull home in its 10th year. Please help me reach my target :)
