On the night of 16-17 May 1943, the RAF's 617 Squadron carried out an audacious bombing raid attacking dams serving the Ruhr valley, leaving German factories and mines badly damaged. 

This year is the 80th Anniversary of the Dambusters raid.

Since the first event in 2021, I shall be taking part in this year’s event on Saturday 13th May, cycling 100 miles in the Dambusters area of Lincolnshire.

I would be grateful if you can help  me commemorate the 80th anniversary of this daring raid by sponsoring my 100 mile cycle ride, raising funds for the RAF Benevolent Fund.

Between now and the event, I will be completing build up training riding through West & North Yorkshire, though will take advantage of Yorkshire's finest coffee & cake shops when I can.
