Just about everyone I know who has had an untimely death has died from cancer (Gerald, Allan, Brian, Anne, Chris to name a few) and more people I know are still fighting now, one just a teenager.

Whilst I run from time to time I have never competed in anything over a half marathon and that was 20 years ago so I know it will be tough for me at 46, forgive me if my legs give out before the end!

I have never sought sponsorship in 30 years as an adult but think that the time is right for me to ask just one time so please do what you can afford,  you never know, your donation could be the one that really made a difference.
