Last Year I proudly ran the 2022 TCS London Marathon to help raise money for Children with Cancer UK. This was my first ever marathon, I had never run that far before.  It was a great experience and the support I received both on the day and with fund raising was amazing. 

I was originally inspired to take on the challenge by the bravery of one little boy, whose family are very close friends of mine.  He was diagnosed at the age of 4 with ALL Leukemia and has been battling this horrible illness since. He is still bravely fighting this disease and his family are still  optimistic that he will finish his treatment in 2024. Hopefully by then he will be able to ring the bell to signify his treatment has been successful and he will no longer need any further treatment.  

At Children with Cancer UK they actively raise and invest money for vital specialist research to save the lives of every child with cancer and keep their family together. Their vision is a world where every child diagnosed with cancer gets to ring their end of cancer treatment bell.

For those who sponsored me before, thank you.  The charity and I were so grateful for your support.  However your support is still needed and we would be so so grateful if your kindness and support could be repeated again. 

I know money is tight for most of us right now so I really appreciate any money that you can donate and so will the charity.
