Story
As some may know, Kevin passed away peacefully on Wednesday 28th September, surrounded by his wife and children. This was after being diagnosed with Glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer, just over two months prior.
The speed of which events passed has left us all in shock, but we wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has been in touch to offer their words of kindness and support. We have been completely taken aback by the number of people whose lives have been wonderfully influenced by Kevin over the years, and we have loved hearing all of the memories and stories that have been shared with us.
Kevin’s last two weeks were spent at Fair Havens Hospice. He and his family were taken under their wing and were given such care and support by the entire team. This enabled a truly heartbreaking time to be eased with the making of special memories, which will be cherished forever.
We would like to thank the Havens Hospice for everything they do by supporting their work in Kevin’s memory. The Havens Hospice provides outstanding care and palliative nursing to adults and children living with complex or incurable conditions. Their services include a wide array of holistic support for families and friends where needed, helping loved ones through the entire grieving process.
While Kevin may no longer be with us, he supported Havens Hospice in his own lifetime. In this way, we will be continuing the generosity of a truly kind-hearted man.
