Jae's fundraising in memory of Kevin Ralley

The Wonderful Walk of Kindness · 1 August 2020 to 2 August 2020 ·
My Dear Friend, Kevin Ralley, sadly passed away in April 2023.
Kevin was one of the best people I have ever met and, to use his words, a 'legend', 'icon' and 'hero'. He was the best teacher that I have ever worked with. Kevin's heart was full of love for others and he lived in the day and moment better than anyone I have ever met. I truly believe that Kevin was a gift to us all and I will forever cherish the memories I have with him. The stories of him from others, much like his beloved fugue, resonate the amazing person that he was.
In memory of him, I want to raise some money for the British Red Cross, which Kevin supported.
I am due to be running THE LAP in Windermere, a 47 mile / 75km race, with 7000ft / 2200m of elevation gain. A real challenge, but one that Kevin was enthusiastically supportive of. I will run with him in my thoughts and will remind myself of all the wonderful praise he gave me through difficult times and moments.
In memory of Kevin Ralley and with Lots of Love,
Jae
Even if you cant be there, you can help.
Across the UK, many are wondering how they'll put food on the table, pay the bills and cope with money pressures. Some are struggling with the emotional strain of it all.The British Red Cross is here to get people through it. Even if you cant deliver it, you can get food to a family that's been forced to skip meals. Even if you cant drive them, you can make sure that someone coming home from hospital has everything they need and can switch the heating on. Donate today. If you have kindness, you have power.
