I am running a marathon next year in Bethlehem to support the work of small groups in the area who are working towards building community and working towards peaceful society. I feel so privileged to be running for these groups. The particular partner I am trying to support is the Wi'am centre, based in Bethlehem you can see more about their work if you would like here: https://www.amostrust.org/amos-palestine/partners/wi-am-conflict-resolution-centre/
If you feel able to support me I would be really grateful. All money raised goes to the project, Mark and I cover all our travel and costs.
Perhaps because Wi'am is based in Bethlehem you might feel able to make a Christmas donation or if you are a part of a church or group give a Christmas collection to this charity. It would be wonderful if you could and a really great way to spread a message of peace, hope and generosity in that season.
I'm a bit daunted by the training. I've been ill for the last few months which has set training back somewhat, but this really felt like something worth putting my running shoes on for and for persevering with. Please help if you feel you can.
