Pedalling into my 40s

Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 2019 · 4 August 2019 ·
Before I'm over the hill I thought I'd cycle over quite a few more and raise money for a great cause while I'm at it. Having caught the cycling bug I decided it's about time I got a few more miles under my belt and do a century ride (that's 100 miles for you non cyclists). So I've got myself a place in Ride London-Surrey 100 on 4th August. Then I thought, why just do that?!....
So I've decided to cycle from home to Paris as a warm up (about 180 miles) on 20th july. And then I thought, why just do that?!....
So throughout the year I'll be adding challenges (and accepting some - any sensible will be considered) to raise as much money as possible.
Macmillan Cancer Support are here to help cancer patients and their loved ones find the best way through from the moment of diagnosis, so you're able to live life as fully as you can. Being told ‘you have cancer’ can affect so much more than your health – it can also affect your family, your job, even your ability to pay the bills. But you’re still you. And, after over 100 years of helping people through cancer, Macmillan get what’s most important: that you’re treated as a person, not just a patient. They take the time to understand you and all that matters to you, and can help you get the support you need to take care of your health, protect your personal relationships and deal with money and work worries.
I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
