KFA Test Team Walk · 9 September 2018

Barth syndrome is a complex and life threatening genetic condition that affects the heart, immune system and growth. Our children and adults struggle with extreme fatigue, sudden heart arrhythmias and recurring infections. Help us to fund research and to find a cure for this devastating condition.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Most people will not have heard of this small charity as this condition is rare. But for those of us at KFA it had a profound effect on our lives, when Sebastian, the son of one of our colleagues, lost his fight against this condition at the age of 2. We were all heartbroken.

The Test Team at KFA started to do an annual charity walk last year, and we choose a cause that has real meaning to us. This year it is Barth Syndrome.
