As-salamu alaykumMy name is Khadeejha and I will be participating in a 2km fun run, fundraising for my local Masjid, Masjid-E-Quba London. We will be guided through a 2km run in Plashet Park on 7 May 2022. In addition to being a place of worship, the Masjid provides religious guidance, education and assistance to all, young and old. The Masjid focuses on physical and mental wellbeing, being the epicentre of love and care as well as providing the local community with support, as seen during the COVID restrictions by providing food packages to those isolating and in need.Any funds raised through this campaign will be used to support the Masjid in investing in the future of the children within the Newham community through education and being at the forefront in responding to the needs of the local community.For further information in regards to the events Masjid-E-Quba have held to support the local community, please view their social media pages @MEQLondon
