To all our lovely friends and family....as you may have noticed from all my boring facebook status that Stephen and I have started running,we have started this training with the help of our lovely friend Tom who's been pushing us pretty hard in preparation for a 10k run in memory of our wonderful friend Tim who we lost in March. Tim wasn't just any friend,he was like Stephen's brother and they were friends for over 20 years and he was a part of my family for the last 14. We miss him terribly and think about him everyday! On this run we will be joined by another of our best friend Tony Williams whom was also like another brother to Tim and got up to all sorts of craziness with him. Now for anyone that know me and Stephen well you will know that we are the laziest people alive,his form of exercise is pressing buttons on his xbox pad and mine is having to go up or down the the 6 steps to go to the loo...and as much as Tony likes to claim how super fit he is,he complains if we make him walk anywhere even if that's only 5 mins into town and all he seems to do most of the time is eat Burger King and Subways!! I've tried to get Tony's other half Judy in on the act but as she is so busy taking care of their little boy Aaron and studying for her millionth degree,we're letting her off this time. The biggest sacrifice for Stephen and I has been giving up the takeaways...and again for all of you that know us well that this isn't a once in a week treat but more a case of if we don't get a takeaway or go for a meal we don't eat :( It's been hard doing this training and even thou Tim run the London Marathon few years back and in excellent time,I think he would be proud of me,Steve and Tony for doing this 10K.
