Story

Hi,

Many thanks for visiting my fund raising page.

It seemed like a good idea at the time when I agreed to join a team aiming to climb the 15 mountain peaks (all over 3000ft) in Snowdonia National Park in a 24 hr period.

Starting at 4am on Saturday 25th June,it promises to be a genuinely gruelling and stamina sapping event. To give you an indication of how tough it is, just over half of the competitors who started the event when it was last organised 2 years ago managed to complete it !

The purpose of undertaking the event - apart from the challenge itself - is to raise money for Hope House. This is the largest charitable provider of youth services in Barnet, specifically aimed at supporting disadvantaged children and families who could do with some extra help It is certainly something that I very much believe in and want to support. For further information please visit their website on www.hope-house.org.uk It would be great if you would add your support to the cause by sponsoring me for the event. Doing this on line is simple, safe and tax efficient - so every gift, however small goes further. It would also not only encourage an old man but help a whole lot of young people and families who are greatly less advantaged. Thanks for your help Kevin
