YEMEN NOT FORGOTTEN. Emergency Feeding in Ramadan

Kheira Mohammed is raising money for Isra-UK Feed the Poor

YEMEN NOT FORGOTTEN · 29 April 2021

Yemen is the largest humanitarian crisis in the world, with more than 24 million people, 80% of the population in need of humanitarian assistance and with COVID-19 spreading, Yemen is facing an emergency within an emergency.

Story

Even before the outbreak of war, Yemen was one of the poorest countries in the world, and with the ongoing conflict it remains on the brink with millions not knowing where their next meal will come from.

ISRA UK has been working in Yemen for over 30 years and actively responding every day to the emergency need in Yemen since war broke out in 2015, providing vital food security, medical assistance, ensuring safe water supply, and long term solutions such as empowerment programs, and orphan sponsorships are delivered to those in need.

With your support we can continue the good work and reach as many people as possible, so many lives can be saved or improved but we cannot do it without your help!

This is how you can ensure families and the needy facing extreme poverty receive the life-saving assistance they need.

I would like your help to provide iftar packs:  £2.50 per iftar meal

Food packs:  £40 will provide a family food for a whole month

Bread loaves: £75 will provide 1000 loaves of bread delivered to families in need

Your Sadaqa and Zakat can save lives.

Thank you for your support
