It's my birthday and I'm joining the Good Samaritan Family Resource Center to raise donations. Let's help hardworking families and children in San Francisco get ahead. Sadly, many families in the City cannot afford to send their child to a quality preschool, after-school, or summer program. Immigrant families are especially hit hard by the high cost of living in San Francisco. That's where Good Samaritan comes in. It offers immigrants and low-income families FREE or low-cost services so they create a better future, incl: - Support groups, immigrant services, and English as a Second Language programs - Parenting classes focused on infant, child and adolescent development; maternal well-being; and strategies for supporting school success - Early literacy programs that are free or low-cost - Youth programs that allow each child/teen to interact with caring role models and do well at school - Supports for the entire family
