5k for 5 days for mental health
As part of a PSHE task at my school, we had the choice of a number of challenges, of which one was to do some fundraising. With that in mind, my parents have helped me set up this page to raise funds for charity. I have decided to choose mental health as it’s an issue that effects young and old and the number of cases in professional sports has also been highlighted. I am 14 years of age and enjoy most sports.
Everyone some way or another these past couple of lockdowns
has experienced depression or something that has affected their mental health. I have decided to use running as my escape as it benefits your mental and physical health.
I am also aware that during the last year, many charities have not been able to raise money like they would normally do, though donations, events etc. Also everyone’s finances have been tested.
My plan is over the school half term, from the week commencing 15th
of February, to run 5k for 5 days. Anyone can donate, any donation is welcome. Follow my journey on Strava called 5k for 5 days.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
UPDATE: Thank you to all who have given money for my run to a worthy cause.
