so a little as to why I'm riding for Loros..
Just over 2 1/2 years ago my beautiful mother passed away after losing her battle with cancer,
One of the only positives that my sisters, my family and I took from this bloody awful situation was just how special Loros Hospice is, Mum and us all took so much comfort from the way these guys, from the tea shop volunteers to the, Cleaning staff, Receptionists, Nurses, Doctors & consultants just to mention a few, who went above and beyond their daily duty to devote their time with care and love to all the patients and families who are spending precious time together at Loros. I'm sure mums last 2 weeks could of been a lot different without their work.
So the only way I can show our gratitude and heartfelt thanks is to try and raise money for this amazing charity, and it is a charity with only a small part funded by the government, they have to raise over £6 million just to kept going, so again the lycra is being worn, the chaffing cream is out and I'm pedalling to Paris again.. So please not only if you know people or have been touched by this fowl and disgusting disease you may already know how important Loros can be.
Please, if your able to spare a pound or 50 it will go along way to help all the patients in their battle & have a place that can be as special as it was for our family and of course help all the wonderful staff at Loros continue in their tireless, amazing work.
Thanks Craig x
