Cycle Ride - Bovey Tracey to London

Kieran died after becoming entangled in a ski lift in France while on a school ski trip. He was only 14 years old. One of his ambitions, that he will now not be able to complete, was to ride from Bovey Tracey to London, nearly 200 miles. We will be doing this for him on the 22nd to 24th September 2011, departing from Bovey Tracey Primary School at 9.15 am on Thursday 22nd and arriving at the Bandstand in Hyde Park midday on the 24th.
His younger sister has been helped through this devastating situation by Balloons, a charity specialising in child bereavement.
There is such an enormous demand for their services that it can be several weeks before a child can be seen and helped.
Few life events have a greater impact on families than the death of a family member, and while life will never be the same again, with help and support children can make a positive and successful transition to adult life.
Any donation you can give will help a child to cope in a situation that is traumatic at any stage of life.
